Childrens' Day Goro-Goro Shogi
Join us for a fun and fast-paced mini-tournament of Goro-Goro Shogi at the Japanese Friendship Garden as part of their Children's Day Kokeshi Festival on April 19th, from 10am to 5pm. And, as always, you can come learn shogi or play a few rounds with us or a friend at any time during the event! Get your tickets today!
Tournament Details:
- Sign up at the Phoenix Shogi booth between the waterfall and teahouse
- Goro-Goro Shogi Rules: Download
- The tournament will begin at 11 AM
- There will be three 10-minute rounds (5 minutes per player, "kire-make")
- Kids only! If enough adults/additional kids are interested, an additional round may be held at 12pm
